It’s a new year! In lieu of starting any New Years Resolutions that I probably will not keep, I decided to challenge myself to another art endeavor. I'm going to make one collage a week, and hopefully by the end of 2019, I'll have 52 new art pieces in the ol' website shop.
I won’t be posting all of the images in this blog, but I’ll be uploading to my Instagram. If you aren’t yet, start following me - content can range from artworks in progress, VHS hauls, and unabashed selfies (sorry, not sorry!) But expect an update every Sunday with a brand spankin’ new collage.
I do still need a hashtag for this project to track my progress…do you have any ideas? Leave a comment below!

I live in a small apartment and I confess, I don’t really decorate for Christmas or have a Christmas tree. It’s more like a Christmas bush. But I do enjoy decorating it with photos of celebrities that have passed away the year previous, and this year I had a more uplifting (and less morbid!) idea. A Celebri-Tree!
I had a lot of fun (and a lot of help from my hilarious friends) creating these celebrity pun ornaments for my Christmas tree this year. Now you can download, print, trim out and hang on your tree too!

Tylor Mintz did a stellar job capturing what it means to be an artist, and what my own art means to me. His kind and honest words about my work made me tear up a bit upon first reading, I couldn't have expressed myself half as eloquently as he did. Plus the pitcher analogy is just so perfect and fitting. Art is love, everyone.
